Grand Prix International (GPI) kicks off The 3rd Bangkok Used Car & Imported Car Show with confidence in sustainable growth in the market for used cars, which is anticipated to increase by 30 % by the end of 2011. The used car extravaganza features more than 10,000 pre-owned and imported cars with prices ranging from 200,000 THB to 10 million THB.
Jaturont Komolmis, chairman of the organizing committee of The 3rd Bangkok Used Car & Imported Car Show reveals that, “as the organizer, we are committed to make the event to be a festival for pre-owned and imported vehicles in Thailand".
Mr Komolmis elaborated, "all of the pre-owned vehicles have been guaranteed for their eligibility. This year, more than 30 automakers and second-hand car dealers have joined the event, equally divided into pre-owned and import vehicles. They include Toyota Sure, Benz Amorn, BMW Premium Selection/Mini Next, Master Certified Used Car, F1, A.G.CARS, ETON, DSG, BRG, 22 AutoTrade, Banzai, Jaxx Auto, Auto Master, and Best Service etc. The price of the vehicles from starts from 200,000 THB to 100 million THB.
One of the showstoppers is the Tesla Roadster, a 100 % electrical power vehicle, worth 8.5 million THB. No need for petrol just plug in to your home electrical outlet.

The show has allocated special space to display 20 vintage cars, such as Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, 300 SL Gullwing. Plus seven units of World War II vintage BMW motor cycles.
Among the vintage cars the stately,solid black Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn 1952 which used to belong to General Chao Phraya Ram Rakop.
The show will also feature a special zone for the sale of second hand luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Coach, and Longchamp, etc. previously owned by well-known celebrities, such as Somchaba from Thai Rath, Khun Lee Puengbunpra, Khum Janya Sawangjit, Khun Pimsurang Iamjangpan, Khun Nantawan Sangthamkitkul, Khun Tinnakorn Asawarak and brand-name products from Thai Airways International crews.
For customer convenience Grand Prix Group joined hands with leading financing institutions; Ayudhaya Capital Auto Lease or Krungsri Auto and Kiatnakin Bank to provide auto financing service to consumers offering cheaper interest rate and special promotions.
